I was a bit skeptical at first to get this seashell manicure done because I thought it would look gross and tacky (that expectation was based off the Google images I had stumbled upon when I first heard of this type of nail art). Fortunately, I talked to the manicurist and she was able to do the powder straight onto my nails (growing up playing the violin I could never get acrylics and to this day I’m not really interested in ever getting them). I’m so happy with the result! In fact, you could say I’m obsessed. They’re so pretty to look at! O_O Plus, these babies only cost me $30. Talk about a bargain! I’m definitely visiting that salon again, and next time I’m trying the turquoise seashell!

fuckyeahgeeksandmakeup: So, I purchased a bottle of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat High Shine (holy adjectives, batman!) on Amazon the other day and it came in last night. Holy mother of god, it’s awesome. It smells like straight up acetone, but it really does wonders. It doesn’t matter how thick your polish is, it still dries super fast and makes your nails look like pure glass. I was a bit worried that it’d pull the color from my nail and stain the brush, but it didn’t. I totally recommend this product, even if it is a bit pricey.  I have tried this. It’s like magic in a bottle, and it’s better than Out the Door if you can believe that!!

I bought this color today, and I love it. It’s called Lubu Heels by China Glaze. This isn’t a picture of my own nails, but it’s the only picture I could find online that justifies how beautiful it looks in person. When I take a picture it just looks black -_-
